TERRE HAUTE — Daisy H. Coleman, 89, of Terre Haute passed away in Southwood Health and Rehabilitation Center on Jan. 9, 2011. She was born on Dec. 22, 1921, in Shepardsville, Ind. to Bernie and Louise (Brockmeyer) Sawyer. She was a retired clerk from the former S.S. Kresge Five and Dime. She attended the Terre Haute Bible Holiness Church and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her husband, Frank Coleman, whom she married on March 12, 1950, preceded her in death Feb. 29, 2000.
She is survived by a daughter, Ruth Bose; a son, Jack Overshiner and his wife Shelley; two sisters, Ruth Dellacca and Mary Breece; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Barnhart Cemetery.
