Bruner Baker, 51, passed away at his home in De Soto on Monday, Sept 27, 2010
Bruner was born February 3, 1959 to Harrell W. and Virginia (Figley) Baker in Dallas, Texas. He grew up in De Soto and graduated from DeSoto High school in 1977, then Attended Cedar Valley College. On March 14, 1980 he married Pam Butcher and the raised their family in DeSoto.
Bruner worked for southwestern Bell as a lineman and engineer for twenty-seven years. He was a member of Hampton Road Baptist Church, the NRA, and the National Assoc. of watch and clock collectors. He was an avid collector of guns and antique clocks, and he loved to play the guitar and ride his Harley.
He is survived by his wife, Pam Baker of DeSoto; two daughters, Laurenand her husband Trey Watson of Douglass and Natalie and her husband Michael Gaither of Duncanville; one grandson Jackson Watson; his parents Harrell and Virginia Baker of De Soto; one brother David Baker of De Soto and his in-laws Howard and Anne Butcher of duncanville.
