Albert Melville Eppinger, aged 72, of R.D. 2, Volant, died at the family residence at 12:45 a.m. today due to an illness of complications of seven months duration. A long time resident of Volant, he was born in Plain Grove, September 19, 1880, a son of Henry and Sara Jane Daniels Eppinger. He was married to Ada McGee Eppinger, February 26, 1908. He was a retired farmer but had also worked as a barber for 35 years. Mr. Eppinger was a member of the Plain Grove Presbyterian church. Surviving, in addition to his widow are the children; Miss Edna Eppinger, at home; Mrs. Clarence (Evelyn) Hunt, R.D. 4, Mrs. George (Bertha) Walters, R.D. 3, Slippery Rock; Mrs. Edwin (Hazel) Fitzgerald, R.D. 2, Volant, Charles and Kenneth Eppinger, R.D., 2; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Nelson, Grove City, Mrs. Ellis Locke, R.D. 4, a brother John L., R.D. 3, Slippery Rock and nine grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted from the family residence at 2 p.m. Wednesday, with Rev. Fred Cochran officiating. Friends may call at the residence, Tuesday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
