The funeral service for Joseph B. McHugh will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Sevier's Funeral Home. Dr. Jerald McBride, minister of the First Baptist Church will officiate. Interment will be at Fairlawn Cemetery.
Mr. McHugh, 67, of 412 Oregon died Wednesday morning at his home. A native of Alabama where he was born Nov 26, 1894. He had lived in Chickasha 35 years. McHugh formerly lived at Ravia.
Until it closed in the late 1920's, McHugh was employed with the Rock Island Railroad shop. Later he was engaged in carpentry for 10 years. He retired two years ago. McHugh was a veteran of World War I.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mattie McHugh; two sons, Otho McHugh and J. B. McHugh both of Chickasha; one brother, Marvin McHugh, Chickasha; one sister, Mrs. Nancy Overstreet, Stockton, Calif., and six grandchildren.
