Wat Rorick Dead
The Caldwell News, July 21, 1904
Word was received Tuesday morning from the hospital at Wichita of the death of W.P. Rorick caused by Bright's disease. He had been in bad health for several months and lately his condition was so bad he was taken to St. Francis hospital at Wichita. The body was embalmed by order of his sister who came from Morenci, Mich. to accompany the remains back there for burial by the side of his wife.
Wat was born in New Jersey but raised in Michigan, and for the past 20 years had been a resident of this city. He had two married daughters, one living in Utah and one in Canada, who inherit his property.
Everyone who knew him was his friends and all are pained at the news of his death although it was not unexpected.
