Freda M. Crlvea, 72, of Gladwin, died Sunday, Feb. 18, 1996 at the MidMichigan Regional Medical Center-Gladwin. Born Jan. 16, 1924 in Missouri, she worked for Pontiac Motors for 30 years before retiring in 1977. The former Freda Tolbert married Arthur Crlvea March 24, 1967 in Harrison. He preceded her in death Nov. 11, 1989.
Surviving are one son, James Giindstaff of Louisiana; one stepson, Wayne Crivea of West Branch; her mother-in-law, Wanda Crivea of Florida; 3 sisters, Virgie Moore of Harrison, Norma Motsinger of Gladwin, and Dorothy Downey of West Virginia; 3 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 1 sister Geraldine Payne.
Services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday from the Sisson Funeral Home in Gladwin. The Rev. Robert Marshall officiated and burial was in Highland Cemetery, Gladwin. Gladwin County Record dated 2-21/1996 Column – 2 Page – 7.
