Funeral Rites Monday
The funeral of Mrs. Bertha Mae Gonyou, 57, wife of William Gonyou, who died at their home on River Street Friday, was held from the Methodist Church Monday afternoon at two o'clock, Rev. W. F. Clark officiating. Burial in Riverside Cemetery.
Mrs. Gonyou was born in Norwood, May 31, 1874, daughter of Ransom Badger and Agnes Peterson Badger. Her entire life had been spent in Norwood.
Besides her husband she is survived by four daughters and four sons: Mrs. Laura [Revier], Norwood; Mrs. Mabel Roycroft, Carthage; Miss Lena, Ogdensburg; Miss Marion, Norwood; Earl Gonyou of New York City; Leon, Kenneth and Floyd, at home. Also three sisters, Mrs. Cora Dean, Mrs. Jennie Mooney and Mrs. Edgar Burch, all of Canton; and two brothers, Roy Badger, Marcus Hook, PA, and Edward Badger of Washington DC.
