Services are 10 a.m. Friday at First Christian Church, Moline. The Rev. Dr. Kenneth Kline will officiate. Burial will be in National Cemetery, Arsenal Island. Visitation is 3 to 7 p.m. today at Trimble Funeral Home, Moline. Memorials may be made to the church.
The former Treva Prout was born May 9, 1915, in Sherrard, the daughter of John and Elizabeth Hillery Prout. She married Philip H. Koehlhoeffer March 2, 1941, in Coal Valley. He was killed in Italy in 1941 during World War II. She married Raymond Lassuy April 5, 1947, in Pensacola, Fla. He died March 2, 1996.
She was employed by Moline School District 40 as school secretary at Butterworth and Maple Grove elementary schools and Woodrow Wilson Junior High School for 25 years, retiring in 1980. She previously worked at International Harvester Farmall Works and Eagle Food stores.
She was a member of First Christian Church, Moline, Golden Circle Class of the church, Moline Family Campers and Christian Women's Fellowship. She was an avid bridge and penny-ante card player.
Treva is survived by three children and their spouses, Philip Koehlhoeffer, John and Tina Lassuy and Marcia and Mark Frederiksen, all of Moline; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a brother, Dale Prout, Amboy, Ind.
