Burial followed in the Old Bethel Cemetery.
Mrs. Thompson died Tuesday at the Franklin Parish Hospital after a brief illness.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Virgie Wells of Gurdon, Ark., Mrs. Nell Peppers of Winnsboro, Mrs. Alice Allen of Clarks, Mrs. Emma Graham of Jena; three sons, Mr. Ishmal Walters of Winnsboro, Mr. Lonnie Smith of Grayson, Mrs. J. Julian Smith of Baskin; one sister, Mrs. Velma Crooks of Wisner, and one brother, Mr. Hubert Little of Alexandria.
Pallbearers were Lacy Whittington, Sidney Doffett, Arthur Perkins, Buddy Nugent, Garland May and Dick Reitzell.
