She was born on February 14, 1922 in Pleasant View, Illinois, the daughter of Aaron and Ethel Barbee Learned. She married Harold G. Weber in Roseoine, La., on January 22, 1946. He preceded her in death on May 14, 2001. She is survived by two brothers, Glenn Learned of Bushnell and Marion Learned of Batesville, Arkansas; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one daughter Nancy Lee and one brother Verne Learned .
Lethea lived in Macomb until 1946 when she moved to Louisiana and then to Texas. She moved back to Macomb in 1969. She had worked many years as a secretary and a seamstress. Lethea was a member of the University Baptist Church, Homemakers Extension since 1954 and also was a member of the Singing Seniors in Macomb.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 24, 2011 at the Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb. Rev. Phil Bell will officiate. The family will meet with friends one hour before the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Macomb.
Memorials may be made to the University Baptist Church in Macomb.
