Charlie Hughes (Joe) Tuggle, 79, of
Raven, died April 1 in a Richlands
hospital following a long
illness.
Born in Russell County, he
was a son of the late John and
Eva Dye Tuggle.
In addition to his parents, he
was preceded in death by four
brothers, Clarence Tuggle, Harve
Tuggle, Bill Tuggle and George
Tuggle; and two sisters, Hazel
Lawson and Thelma Ray.
-Survivors: brother, Luther
Tuggle of Swords Creek; sister,'
Mollie Lawson of Maple Gap; and
several nieces and nephews.
The funeral was conducted
April 4 at 1 p.m. at the Singleton
Funeral Chapel in Cedar Bluff
with Rev. Max Linkous and Rev.
Jerry Hess officiating.
Burial followed in the Tuggle
family cemetery at the Long
Branch section of Swords Creek
