She was prominent in the Michigan DAR. She served the Saginaw chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution as Recording Secretary, Treasurer and Regent from 1921 to 1924. Jennie served the state chapter for more than four years as treasurer from 1914 to 1918, six years as auditor and three years as the Michigan regent from 1925 to 1928. Jennie also served the Michigan D.A.R. on the revision committee for State By-laws twice and the State Finance committee. Jennie also was State Chairman of Committee on Orphans, and was made Honorary State Regent for Life after she retired as regent. During Jennie's state regency, she performed outstanding service for the National Society as State Chairman of the Constitution Hall Finance Committee and as a member of the advisory staff for Constitution Hall. During her regency, five chapters at Dearborn, Plymouth, Tecumseh, Royal Oak, and Union City were organized.
