Lillie Hardaway Strickland, 83, died Saturday, February 5, 2005 at Candler Hospital.
The native and lifelong resident of Savannah was a homemaker and worked for many years at Medding Packing House.
Survivors: a son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Julia Dyer Strickland of Savannah; five sisters, Essie Yonge and Rita Hardaway, both of Morgan City, LA, Sarah Deary of Savannah, Marie Weaver of Marrero, LA; and Dorothy Louviere of Pierre Part, LA; six grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel.
Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel.
Burial: Bonaventure Cemetery.
