Donna Jean McKitrick Murphy, 63, of Marietta, passed away on Monday (March 14, 2011) at The Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus.
She was born on April 16, 1947, in Marietta, a daughter of the late Everett and Emma Felter McKitrick. She was a graduate of Marietta High School and a 1980 graduate of Washington State Community College School of Nursing. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister.
She married William Murphy on May 14, 1982, who survives with children, William Dennis O'Grady Jr. (Jennifer) of Monroe, Michigan, and Scott Alan O'Grady (Crystal) of Newport; stepdaughter, Rachel Ann Murphy; grandchildren, Ashley Snider, Scott O'Grady Jr., Arian Stollar, Emily O'Grady, Alexis O'Grady. She is also survived by brothers and sisters, Everett McKitrick Jr. (Pam) of Marietta, Raymond "Butch" McKitrick of Marietta, Robert McKitrick Sr. (Teresa) of Reno, Larry McKitrick Sr. (Sally) of Marietta, Ford "Doc" McKitrick (Mary) of Vincent, Louise Thrasher, Sue Estadt (Carlos) Anna Dye (Benny), Mary M. McKitrick, all of Marietta, and Becky Murphy (Jerry) of Circleville, Ohio.
