Miss Flora B. Moore, 61, died at her home 468 Union Street Tuesday after an illness of over three years. She underwent a surgical operation three years ago from which she never completely rallied. Last August she suffered a relapse and has been confined to her bed since that time. She was born in Newport, the daughter of Harvey and Mary Moore and lived there until coming to Bangor 18 years ago. She confined her interests to her home her only outside affiliation being with the First Methodist church in Newport. She is survived by two sisters, Miss Ella Moore and Mrs. Effie Moore Davis and by one brother, Frank O. Moore, for many years with the NEWS in the typographical department. The deceased lived with her sisters and brother.
