Betty Jo Cannon Died This Morning At Iowa City
Betty Josephine Cannon, 13 year old daughter of Mrs. Imogene Cannon, 1119 Fifth street, passed away at 2 a. m. this morning at the University hospital in Iowa City from Bright's disease. She had been in the hospital six weeks.
Born March 6, 1934 at Milan, Mo. Betty Jo had lived in Nevada five years. She was a member of the eighth grade of the Nevada junior high school. She was baptized in St. Paul's Lutheran church at Iowa City.
The body is being brought from Iowa City this afternoon to the Ryan Funeral Home where it will remain until time of the services which will be announced later.
Betty Josephine is survived by her mother, Mrs. Imogene Cannon of Nevada, her grandmother, Mrs. Josie Cannon of Milan, Mo. and her grandfather, Arthur Murphy of Milan, Mo. She was preceded in death by one brother, a grandfather and a grandmother.
