Edward Wickman

DONAHUE, Iowa - Services for Edward C. Wickman, 61, of Donahue, will be 1:30 p.m. Tues-day at Cunnick-Collins Mortuary Chapel, Davenport. Burial will be in Allens Grove Cemetery, Dixon.

Visitation will be 1-5 p.m. Monday.

Mr. Wickman died Thursday at his home after an extended illness.

He was self-employed in the home improvement business and owned and operated the Wickman Roofing and Siding Co., retiring in 1995 because of ill health.

He married Connie Shafer in 1965 in Rock Island.

He was a member of the Davenport Moose Lodge and a former member of Iron Workers Union Local 89, Cedar Rapids. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Memorials may be made to the family.

Survivors include his wife; a son; Allen Shafer, Davenport; three grandchildren; a sister, Sharon (Mrs. Harvey) Morris, Davenport; a stepsister, Theresa Durant, Davenport; a half sister, Mary Lou (Mrs. Gus) Dostal, Rice Lake, Wis.; a stepbrother, Jack Dettman, Phoenix, Ariz.; and half brothers, James and Dennis Wickman, both of Davenport.
