Services Held Saturday For Mrs. F.A. Cooper

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Murphy-Spicer Funeral Chapel for Mrs. Clara Cooper with Robert C. Copeland, pastor of the local Church of Christ, officiating.

Mrs. Cooper, age 81 years, passed away last Friday morning at Claude following a lengthy illness. She had been a resident of Clarendon 38 years. Mrs. Cooper and her husband, the late Frank A. Cooper, came here from Claude in 1914 and operated the Clarendon Plant & Floral Co. and a public swimming pool for a number of years. Mr. Cooper died in December, 1925. Mrs. Cooper was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Elsie Johnson of Odessa; two brothers, Walter Muskgraves of Waurika, Okla., and Abe Muskgraves of Lawton, Okla.; and a grandson, Albert L. Johnson of Brady.

Pallbearers were Joe Hall, Charlie Hearn, G.W. Bradshaw, Johnnie Johnson Clifford Decker and J.I. Spurgeon.

Burial was in Citizens Cemetery with the Murphy-Spicer Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
