His date of birth above is from the 1900 census; the place is correct and the date may be right, but his death certificate has February 1865 as his date of birth (the informant was his son Fred). I haven't yet found an online record of George's birth, so will be happy to change it if someone out there knows the true date.
George married Lizzie on 01 June 1895 in Summers County, WV, and they raised three children (Mona, Frank, and Fred). Their son Frank and daughter Mona both died in 1927. George preceded Lizzie in death and she never remarried.
Addendum - The photo of George and Lizzie's gravestone (compliments of member Brittany Wykle) shows that different years of birth (1866) and death (1939) were inscribed for him instead of the dates on his death certificate.
