Norma Jayne Post, age 90 of Brookfield, wife of the late James H. Post, died at Danbury Hospital on Saturday, March 5th. She was born in Trumbull on August 4, 1920, daughter of the late Joseph J. and Delia (Commeau) Abbotts. Mrs. Post was a loving homemaker who devoted herself to maintaining the family home for her husband and children. Her children and grandchildren were her greatest joy. She also enjoyed reading and studying the Bible. She will be sadly missed by her three daughters, Nancy Detrick and her husband, Dale of Montana, Elaine O. Post of Brookfield, with whom she made her home, and Joelle S. Bradshaw and her husband, Douglas of Seymour; and her three grandchildren, Douglas E. Bradshaw, Jr., Jennifer Bradshaw, and Harold J. "Pat" Johnson. She was predeceased by her son, James Harvey Post, Jr. Funeral services will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Danbury on Saturday, March 26th at 3:30 p.m. Interment of cremains will be held privately in the family plot at Park Cemetery in Bridgeport.
