Bates Hole Rancher Laid at Rest Today, Following Death at Hospital
John Trollopp [sic], aged 40, died at noon yesterday at a local hospital following an operation for the relief of ulcers of the stomach performed last Friday. He had been ill for some time at his ranch in the Bates Holes country before he was brought here.
He is survived by a wife, four children, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Trollopp [sic], who are pioneers of Bessemer Bend, one sister, Mrs. Annie Colwell, and two brothers, Ed and Harry Trollopp [sic], all of near Bessemer.
Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock this afternoon from the Shaffer-Gay chapel, Rev. J. J. Giblin officiating, and interment was made at the Casper cemetery.
