Cash, James R. Born September 14, 1933 in Van Zandt County, TX and passed away October 14, 2010 in Garland, TX surrounded by his loving family.
He left us to join the love of his life, his wife of 43 years, Marie; his parents, Odelia Waldrop Cash and Earlie Cash; son, James G. Cash and Johnny Cash; brothers, Harold G. Cash and Kirby Joe Cash. Survived by his beloved devoted family, daughter, Patti Cash Harrison and husband, Larry; son, David Cash and wife, Kathy; grandsons, Jimmy Don Cash (Katie), Michael Harrison (Lindsey) and Jeremy Cash; granddaughters, Jana and Sydney Cash; great grandchildren, David Tatum, Katlyn Cash, Owen Cash Harrison and Jenny Cash and his loving niece, nephews, sister-in-law, Pat; Aunt Winnie and other family and friends. After graduating from Canton High School, he served in the Army during the Korean War. Cash retired from Proctor and Gamble company after 38 years of service. He lived fully, loved life and enjoyed traveling to Vegas and playing cards. There are no words to describe how saddened we all are and how much you will be missed. Family will receive friends on Monday, October 18, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00PM at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at 12:30PM Restland Wildwood Chapel, officiated by Brother Ken Ashlock.
