Richard was my cousin, he was the son of Joseph and Louise Cheatwood. Richard grew up on the family farm, and dearly loved horses. He eventually owned his own farm and raised nothing but horses, and did that for several years. When he wasn't working on his farm, he drove a pulp-wood truck for a coal mining company that he had worked for since his teens. He was survived by his two daughters Pamela and Teresa, and his son Richard Jr.
