Walter Emert was born April 23, 1886 in Jackson County to William and Emzia Johnston Emert. He was preceded in death by two sisters.
He married Anna Grosvenor on June 26, 1912 in Chester. She survives as well as two daughters, Charlesa Mueller and Wilma Postman, both of Chester.
Mr. Emert was a retired farmer and a member of the Modern Woodmen Lodge. He died at the age of 91 at Memorial Hospital, Chester, after a long illness.
