The News (Frederick, MD) - March 8, 1938

Richard J. Waesche, prominent farmer of near Poolesville, died at the Frederick City Hospital Monday night. He was aged 63 years. He had been removed to the hospital on Monday morning at seven o'clock and death, caused by pneumonia, followed at 10.45 p. m. He had been ill only since Tuesday.

The deceased was the son of the late John and Margaret Waesche. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mae Meser-Waesche. There are no children. The following brothers and sisters survive; Dr. Frederick Waesche, of Sykesville; Henry Waesche, of Washington; Arthur Waesche, of Mitchelville; Miss Margaret B. Waesche, of Washington, D.C.; and Mrs. J.S. Smith, of Washington.

Funeral services will be held from the late residence near Poolesville on Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock. Interment in Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville. William B. Hilton, Barnesville, funeral director.
