ROCKDALE, Texas — Funeral services for Ruby Earle, 91, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, in Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home. The Rev. Charles Cox officiated. Burial followed in I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Rockdale. Mrs. Earle died Thursday, Dec. 20, 2001, in a Rockdale care center. She was a lifelong resident of Rockdale. She attended Rockdale schools. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Ladies VFW Auxiliary and First Christian Church in Rockdale. Survivors include one daughter, Billie Smith of Lake Charles; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
