Mr. Zimmerman was born in Darmstaedt, Germany on August 23, 1865,and came to this country with his parents when he was two years old and settled at Millhome. On September 14, 1895 he was united in marriage with Mary Klein, and the couple since then has
resided in Elkhart Lake.
The deceased is survived by his wife; two sons, Arwin of Sheboygan,and Harry of Milwaukee; four daughters, Mrs. Ervin (Viola) Boeselager of Two Rivers, Mrs. Victor (Ida) Graef of Sheboygan, Mrs. Harvey(Lillian) Boeselager of Town Plymouth, and Mrs. Albert (Mildred)Huberty of St. Paul, Minnesota; a brother, Henry Zimmerman, and a sister, Mrs. Henry Randau of Milwaukee; 12 grandchildren.
Mr. Zimmerman was a charter member of the Elkhart Lake fire department and has been active in that organization at all times.
Funeral services were conducted at 8:30 o'clock Monday morning at the Raeder Funeral Home at Elkhart Lake, and at 9 a.m. at the St.George Catholic church, with the Rev. A.J. Reinl officiating.
Burial was made in the church cemetery in the town of Rhine.
