Memorial services for Mrs. Lucinda Lawson who passed away suddenly on Friday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Earl Hiattm were held at the Christian church on Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock. There was a large attendance of relatives and friends. Mrs. Lawson was born at Wabash, Indiana, on March 5, 1852. She is survived by one son, Franklin, of Gary; two daughters, Mrs. Earl Hiatt and Mrs. William Antrim of Hebron; two foster daughters, Mrs. Allen Thatcher, of Hebron, Mrs. Lillian Pennock of Waukegan, Ill. and William Lawson of Chicago; several grandchildren and great-grandchdilren. The service was conducted by Reverends John Ward and Grant Blackwood. L. K. Buchanan sang, accompanied by Mrs. Buchanan. The pallbearers were Charles and Clark Bithcart, Lewis Kerrer, J. R. childs, Barney Ryan, John J. DeCook. Burial was made in Hebron Cemetery beside her husband who preceded her ten years ago.
