Andrew Jackson (Jack) Conner, son of Michael and Harriet Laird Conner was born near Greenville in Butler County, Alabama, Jan. 1, 1847.
Married same place to his first wife, Matilda Hill 1873, they having five children. Married the second time after he moved to Brewton to Fannie Boyer, they having two children. He served during the war of 1861-65, which left him with a stiff knee, for the rest of his life. He died in Brewton Escambia County in 1907, the day after his wife was buried, never knowing of her death.
