Memorial services are at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 8 at Picayune Funeral Home for Herbert "Buck" T. Britt, 76, of Picayune who died Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2004 (2005).
The Rev. Reggie Bridges officiates at the service, assisted by the Rev. Kevin Neary. Burial is at a later date under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.
A native of Allendale, Texas, he was a welding superintendent for Brown and Root and Haliburton, a U.S. Navy veteran and a member of 1st Baptist Church in Iowa Park, Texas.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Pauline Britt of Picayune; a son, Tommy Gayle Britt of Iowa Park; two daughters, Shirley Rallis of Westerly, R.I. and Teri Lugene Romero of Onalaska, Texas; three brothers, Monty Fred Britt and Phillip Stanley Britt, both of Iowa Park and Gene Paul Britt of Wichita Falls, Texas; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation is 10-11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 8 at Picayune Funeral Home
