Born July 28, 1907, he was the son of Thomas & Sarah (Steele) Nelson of Petoskey. On Nov. 26, 1927 he married Josephine "Jo" Koboski. They were the parents of 5 children, they resided in Petoskey, later moving to Dearborn Heights, Mich. Norm was proceeded in death by his son, Norman Thomas, and daughter, Virginia Mae. He was survived by his wife, 2 sons, James & Edwin, and daughter Elizabeth Call.
