R.S.'Dick"Madison 83 of Kermit died Monday , Feb.13,1995 at Kermit Nursing Center in Kermit.

Services were held Wednesday ,Feb.15,1995 at First Baptist Church with Randy Houston officiating. Burial was in Kemit Cemetery. Cooper Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.

He was born Sept.17,1911 in Brownwood.

He married Lovie Maxine Madison May 13,1932 in Waurika , Ok. She preceded him in death Aug.17,1991

He was a retired Car Salesman for Stodghill Chevrolet. He was a Baptist and a menber of Kermit Lodge # 1258.

He was a 59 year resident of Kermit.

Survivors include six daughters: Wynell Patton of New Braunsfels, Dorothy Haygood of Kermit, JoAnna Yeates of Midland, Sharon Hare of Midland, Kathy Garrett of Midland and Dixie Randolph of Kermit; two brothers:Gilbert Madison of Stanton and Louie Madison of Andrews;one sister,Opal Dean of Big Spring; 18 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were:Steve Patton , Sammy Haygood, Danny Haygood, Joe Haygood,John Yeates,Chuck Hare,Mark Breeding Scott Breeding and Matt
Randolph.
