"Marion O. Bayless, 83, retired farmer and Lake Halbert caretaker, died Saturday morning at Paulyne's Convalescent Home. He was a native of Fort Smith, Arkansas but had resided in this area 72 years.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. from the Corley Chapel with burial in the Campbell cemetery.
The rites will be conducted by Rev. Steve Massie, minister of the First Christian church, and Rev. J. T. Davis, Baptist minister.
Surviving are his wife Hettye of Corsicana; a daughter Mrs. Ellen Hill, Woodland, Washington; two granddaughters, Mrs. Bennie Swatosh, Brush Prairie, Washington, and Mrs. Jean Perrin, Vancouver, Washington, five great-grandchildren and anumber of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Pallbearers will be Bayless Elmore, Wayman Terry, Cleoma Bayless, Hoyt Moore, George Robinson, James Robinson and Buck Copeland. Corsicana Daily Sun, January 22, 1966"
