J. D. was a long-distance truck driver for 20 years for Frozen Food Express in Dallas, Texas. He moved back to Sims and started logging again. He was owner and operator of Chambers Logging for years.
He is survived by his wife; one daughter; two sons; one daughter-in-law; one son-in-law; two step-daughters; thirteen grandchildren; one brother; one sister-in-law; also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and a whole lot of friends all over.
J. D. loved to fish, hunt, and also work. He loved his grandchildren with all his heart.
