Edna Lee Carpenter, 92, of Ojai, died Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2007. She was born May 19, 1915, in Lanis, Texas.
Mrs. Carpenter was a cook at The Grey Gables retirement home for 16 years.
She is survived by her son, Buddie Carpenter, of Clovis, Calif., and daughter Marie Knight, of Ojai.
She was preceded in death by her son, Choice "Lew" Carpenter, on Sept. 16, 2007.
A funeral service will be held Monday, Oct. 15, at 11 a.m. at the Church of Christ, 411 N. Montgomery St., Ojai. Interment will follow at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park in Ventura.
Arrangements are under the direction of Charles Carroll Funeral Home, Ventura.
