Born December 11, 1898 in Young County. Hennig had lived in Wichita Falls 34 years, moving there from Olney. He was a retired farmer, and a member of the First United Methodist in Wichita Falls. He was a member of Dallas Consistory of Scottish Rites, Olney Masonic 790 AF&AM, and Maskat Temple Shrine.
Survivors include three daughters. Mrs. Adele Mooney of Des Moines, Iowa; Mrs. Jancll Pcrrinc of Richardson, and Mrs. Edwana Hill of Piano; two sisters, Mrs. Emily Blake and Mrs. Jewel Bryan, both of Olney; two brothers, Jess Hennig of Rails and Clint Hennig of Whitewright; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Burial will be in Crestview Memorial Cemetery in Wichita Falls, with masonic graveside rites.
