Mary Kathryn (Alumbaugh) McCammon, 93, died Thursday March 17, 2011, in Franklin. She was a resident of Trafalgar.
Mary was born Dec. 16, 1917, to Claude and Ruth (Spangler) Alumbaugh in Dugger.
She was a homemaker and loved to cook. She enjoyed reading, word-searches, puzzles and cross stitching.
Survivors include a daughter, Sue (Porter) Shepherd of Trafalgar; two grandchildren, Alicia (Bryan) Davenport of Franklin and Chris Shepherd of Florida; and four great-grandchildren, Rick and Jared Davenport and Seth and Levi Shepherd.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Jenny Shepherd and Frieda McBride; and two brothers, Lewis and Loren Alumbaugh.
Pastor Brian Butler will conduct a funeral service at 3 p.m. Sunday at Cornerstone Church, 1000 W. County Road 375S, Trafalgar. Friends and family may call from 1 p.m. until service time Sunday at the church. A graveside service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.
