Funeral services for Mrs. Priscilla Louise Gaines were held December 18 at the Bendell Funeral Home at Swartz's Creek, Mich., with the Rev. Lloyd Button officiating and burial was in Crestwood Cemetery, Mrs. Gaines was born in Pemiscot county on July 16, 1905 and died on December 16, at the Flint, Mich. McLaren Hospital. She was a member of the Baptist church.
Mrs. Gaines is survived by three sons, Dennis, Kenneth and Gale of Flint; four daughters, Bonnie of the home, Mrs. Harold Withey, Mrs. Gene Peters and Mrs. R.W. Jones, all of Flint; eight grandchldren; her father, Mr. Wilbur Maclin, Hayward, Mo.; two brothers Louis Maclin of Concord and Bland Maclin of Boekerton, Mo.; one sister, Mrs. Murray Parrott, Williston, Tenn. The Gaines family moved to Flint in 1928. Before that year Mrs. Gaines had lived all her life in the Stanley community.
Mr. and Mrs. Louis Maclin of Concord, Mrs. Murray Parrott of Williston, Tenn. and Mr. Bland Maclin of Boekerton attended the funeral of their sister from here.
