Last Sunday morning the spirit of Mr. J. W. Carlile, of LaGrange, took its
flight to the great beyond, after an illness of many months, and while all
that was possible was done to restore him to health again, it was to no
avail, and death came as a relief to his intense suffering.
The funeral services were held Monday morning at 10 o'clock at the LaGrange
church, conducted by the Rev. Wm. Stones, of the Baptist church, and were
attended by a large number of sorrowing relatives and friends.
The interment was made in the LaGrange cemetery and was in charge of the
Woodmen of the World, Titusville Camp No. 141, of which the deceased was a
member, the burial service of this order being used, which was very
impressive.
Mr. Carlile leaves to mourn his loss a wife and large family of little ones,
to whom the sympathy of all is extended.
