Born in Columbiana County, Ohio where there were lots of Lindesmiths (and still are today). Though his tombstone says he was born in 1843, it must be 1844 because his brother Jerry was born in Nov. 1842.

About 1857 his father moved to the family to Jefferson Co, IL.
Sometime before 1869 the family moved north to Kaskaskia twp (near Shobonier), Fayette Co, IL.

Fayette Co, IL Marriages:
Ebenezer Lydesmith & Minerva O. Campbell, license June 17, 1869; married June 20, 1869 by E.S. Miller, J.P. (both of age)

In 1880 they were living in Douglas County, Mo near other Lindesmith family.
In 1889 he was with several family in Galena, KS, maybe visiting.
In 1899 he bought land in Douglas Co, Mo., where they were in 1900 & 1910.
In 1920 he was still in Douglas Co, Mo, but he and Olive were living with son, Leroy.

In 1925 he died in Coffeyville, Ks, probably moving there with one of his sons (Leroy or Hiram).

Olive was living with son Leroy in Nowato Co, OK in 1930 (abt 15 miles south of Coffeyville, KS). When she died in 1931, she was buried with Eb in Coffeyville, KS.
