Mrs. Agnes Shea, wife of engineer J. W. Shea, passed away at the St. Bernard hospital at Council Bluffs on the 22nd of December, where she went for treatment. She had been in ill health for some time, but strong hopes were held for her recovery, when the sad news of her death came. She leaves three little girls, Norene, age 8, Marjory, age 6, Marion, 6 months and her devoted husband. Her life was so pure and her Christian faith so undoubted, that we may feel the blessed assurance that she has gone to the home prepared for those who love and faithfully serve the Lord. She was a devoted wife and mother. She waits for God, where there is no parting, no sorrow or pain. The funeral services were held Tuesday morning, December 26, at the Immaculate Conception church. A Requiem high mass was celebrated. Interment followed in the Catholic cemetery.
