Mr. William Byron Covey, age 86, a resident of Orange Beach died Wednesday March 9, 2011. Mr. Covey was preceded in death by his mother, Edith Van Antwerp Covey and father William Covey. He is survived by his wife, Dolores Covey of Orange Beach, brother, Mack (Charlotte) Covey of Oklahoma, sister Marsha (Robin) Rowley of Houston, Texas, and many close relatives and friends. Mr. Covey was a 1941 graduate of Murphy High School and 1949 graduate of Auburn University. WAR EAGLE! The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, March 14, 2011 at St. Thomas by the Sea Catholic Church in Orange Beach with a visitation from 10:00 AM until time of service.
