Theodosia Clouse was born December 26, 1916 in Morrison, OK to Glen Elizabeth Shannon and Ralph B. Ebey and died on Sunday, March 13, 2011. Theo graduated from Britton High School in Britton, OK. She married the love of her life, Jack D. Clouse, of Hutchinson, Kansas. They were married for 67 years. They met through her sister, Mildred, who was married to Jack's brother, Robert Clouse, all whom preceded her in death. Theo had 4 other siblings, Jake Ebey, Jim Ebey, Ann (Ebey) Ersland and Robert Ebey, all who were waiting to greet her when she arrived home. Also preceding her in death was her nephew John R. Clouse and niece Rachel Ersland Armstrong. Jack and Theo lived in Hutchinson, Kansas where they had many dear friends with whom they traveled around the world. They moved to Oklahoma in 2001 to live at the Vineyard with her sister, Ann. She is survived by her nephew Jack and Darla Clouse of OKC, The Ebey nephews and nieces, JB, Bob, Elizabeth (Dye), Bill, Vernon, and Mary (Bolding,) and also the Clouse nephews and nieces, David, Alan, Beverly (Abbey), Danny and Janie and a host of great and great-great nephews and nieces. Although Jack and Theo didn't have children of their own, they were adored by all who knew them. Theo was a world renowned china painter and was a member of the World Organization of China Painters. She taught many classes and attended shows all around the country. Theo always had her paints with her and painted many scenes from all across the nation during their travels. Theo retired from Dillon's Food and she and Jack were charter members of Prairie Dune's Golf and Country Club. Theo was best known for her "chicken scratch," which she shared with all her friends and relatives. The family wishes to extend their gratitude for the loving care while she lived at Bellevue Health and Rehabilitation Center. Services will be held at Smith & Kernke Chapel on Thursday, March 17, 2011, at 2:00pm. Interment at Rose Hill Burial Park.
