Deceased Name: MILDRED MACKENZIE

Mildred O. MacKenzie, 72, of Country Garden Apartment, Central Square, died Wednesday at St. Joseph's Hospital.

She was born in Evans Mills and lived in Brewerton for 50 years. She moved to Central Square five years ago.

She was employed as a bookkeeper for Lester Gillette Construction Co., Constantia. She was a member of the Brewerton Methodist Church. She also was a member of the Brewerton Chapter No. 180 Order of Eastern Star and secretary of the chapter for many years.

Surviving are a daughter, Jean Diemicke of Clementon, N.J.; a sister, Doris DeMong of Central Square; a grandson, Ronald Diemicke, and two nephews.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Traub Funeral Home in Central Square. Burial will be in Pine Plains Cemetery in Clay.

Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, 110 North Main St., Central Square. An Order of Eastern Star service will be held at 8 p.m. Saturday.

Contributions may be made to the Brewerton Chapter No. 180 Order of Eastern Star.
