Betty Loraine Jones, 74, of Texarkana, Texas, died Saturday, Feb. 28, 2004, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Jones was born Dec. 13, 1929, in Texarkana, Ark. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Carl Jones, on January 25, 1974.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Vicki and Ronald Friesen and Sandra Kay and Larry Clapp of Texarkana; one son and daughter-in-law, Carl Mack and Daphna Jones of Imperial, Mo.; one sister, Virginia Miller of Texarkana; one brother, H.M. 'Buddy' Miller of Edenton, N.C.; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Robert Taber officiating. Burial will be under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home.
