Col. Brown was about 70 years of age and was a prominent farmer and stock dealer. He was respected throughout this and adjoining counties as a large hearted liberal Christian gentleman.
The deceased leaves wife, five sons, and two daughters to mourn the loss of a kindhearted husband and father.
