There is a small house, about 8' X 10' built over Edna's grave. It has windows on three sides and a door on the other side. Inside is the stone marking the grave. The floor is covered with white sand with a little mound in the center where the grave is. The windows have curtains and little baskets with flowers. There are little tables with scarves and seashells, flowers, and other items that belonged to her. On one table is a picture of Jesus. At one time all her toys were there, some have been taken.

According to a relative "Never a drop of rain rained on it". It was cover with a tent until the house was built". This grave and others near by face East except for Liston's and the Mother and Father's graves which face North toward the door to this little house.

Her family had been to the hospital to visit her Grand-mother Margaret, and were walking home, down the street in Woodfin, NC. Edna and Liston were holding hands and a car driven by a drunk man came by and hit Edna and dragged her body a long distance down the street. She died instantly. Liston would never talk about the accident until he had a stroke that affected his mind and about two weeks before he died was talking about Edna.
