Virginia "Ginny" Lee (Aharrah) Rupp, 65, formerly of Dayton, PA went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 13, 2011. The daughter of Mary (McCoy) and Edward Aharrah; she was born on October 18, 1945 in Kittanning. She spent most of her life in the Dayton area, and was employed by the Armstrong School District in food service for many years. Most recently, she resided in the Harrisburg area and worked as a medical transcriptionist. She will be remembered for her strong faith in God and her love for her family.
Ginny is survived by her four children: Brian P. married to Kelly (Reesman) of Dayton, Amy B., married to Ralph Davis of Fayetteville, GA; Timothy J., married to Amy (Kuhta) of Fayetteville, PA; Dennis A., married to Kelly (Rutter) of Aliquippa, PA, and seven grandchildren: Olivia & Andrew Rupp, Tristan & Joelyn Davis, Lydia & Liam Rupp, and Josephine Rupp. She was the sister of Neil Aharrah of Caldwell, New Jersey; Dolores Fyock of Galion, Ohio; and Kathy Main of Etters, PA.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandson, Aiden Joel Rupp.
Friends and relatives will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 on Wednesday, March 16th at Bauer/Bly Funeral Home in Dayton, PA. A funeral service will be held Thursday, March 17th at 11AM. Burial will be at the Cochran Cemetery in Templeton, PA.
