Evelyn Eudora Sivils, 93, of Hamburg died Thursday, May 27, 2010, at her son's home. A lifelong resident of Hamburg, Mrs. Sivils worked a number of years at Charles Spencer's Grocery Store and Hamburg Shirt Factory. She was a member of First Baptist Church.



She is survived by two sons, Tommy Sivils of Hamburg and Bobby and wife Linda Sivils of Texas City, TX, two daughters, Patricia and husband Bobby Joe Kelley and Betty Maxwell of Hamburg; one sister, Thomasene and husband Chester Anders of Crossett; six grandchildren, Karla Austin, Teresa Maxwell, Timothy and wife Crystal Sivils, Shane and Robert Sivils and Tambra and husband Nat Dickey, 19 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Van Sivils; her parents, Thomas Bradford and Lou Annie Ford Rogers; three brothers, Billy, Bob, and Joe Rogers; three sisters, Hazel Davis, Elizabeth Gunn and Beverly Rogers; a grandson, Jerry Wayne Maxwell; and a son-in-law, Wayne Maxwell.

Funeral services were at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 29, at Southside Baptist Church with Bros. Charles Pullin and Sanders Brooks officiating. Pallbearers were Eric Maxwell, Mitchell Maxwell, Ryan Austin, Brandon Dickey, Chance Sivils and Joshua Sivils.
