After a short illness, Miss Lucy J. Edwards died at the residence of her father, Mr. J. W. Edwards, near here last Sunday afterday April 14 at 2 o'clock, aged 25 years. The funeral services were conducted at the Methodist church on Monday afternoon April 15 by Rev. T. G. Pullen, the pastor. The interment was made at Poplar Spring cemetery.
